Ik ben nu al 3 x met deze organisatie meegeweest. Harold geeft duidelijke informatie vooraf en staat klaar met alle vragen. Mijn eerste reis was in januari 2019 met de Doğu Express in de winter. Een eenmalige ervaring die ik iedereen kan aanraden. In oktober 2020 en mei 2021 heb ik de Blauwe Reizen meebeleefd. Heerlijk relaxen, uitstekend verzorgd, mooie routes en prima gezelschap. In oktober en november 2021 ga ik weer mee. Eerst weer op de Blauwe Reis en daarna de 5 daagse minitrip Mesopotamie naar zuidoost Turkije. Ik zeg gewoon doen en je krijgt een onvergetelijke ervaring terug.

Trudy RosendaaWe were very pleasantly surprised at the facilities and comfort. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I was not even allowed to carry our bags to the cabin. Food..... Delicious, scrumptious, ambrosial, mouth watering. How Oozlem manages to cook such wonderful meals, for 12 people, in a kitchen, that is the size of Marjan's wardrobe, I'll never know! Staff... very helpful, friendly, caring and super efficient. Views and itinerary.... it's only when you see this area from the sea, that you realise how beautiful it is. Swimming in secluded bays, gazing at beautiful views, calm waters, and, good company. If you are thinking about a cruise on a Gulet, book through this company. I guarantee, you will love it! Binnen 1 dag had hij 2 programma's klaar waaruit wij konden kiezen Wij hebben voor het gebied Mesopotamie gekozen en daar hebben we absoluut geen spijt van gehad. Wat een prachtig programma in een onvergetelijk mooi gebied. Alles professionelel verzorgd in het gezelschap van Harold zelf. We were kept informed from the time of booking of any changes, concerns were addressed promptly and without fuss. Our guide, İsmet Inan, was excellent, great historical knowledge that brought a different dimension to the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip....our first with ETD, and we will be looking for more adventures with them. I would not hesitate in recommending ETD.

They were both extremely informative and very helpful to all your questions and requirements My only suggestion would be as I believe this was the first of this trip , would be to make some of the travelling distances more even as we did over 900 kilometres over two days. Pia BlyitgenWij op 10 september vertrokken naar het prachtige noorden van Turkije. Vertrek vanaf Ankara. Daarna ongeveer 3400 km door het prachtige zwarte zee gebied gereden. Zoveel moois gezien. Een perfecte combinatie van natuur en cultuur. Wat is Turkije toch een prachtig en veelzijdig land. Goede hotels, gids en bovenal onze geweldige chauffeur Aldulrahman. We hebben genoten van deze reis en hopen volgend jaar met ETD het zuid oosten van Turkije te bezoeken.
MarianIn 15 dagen de Zwarte zeekust en noord Anatolie bezoeken en beleven. Dat was deze trip, een mooi avontuur. Geweldige en afwisselende natuur, indrukwekkende architectuur en boeiende oudheid. Maar ook een inkijk in de vooruitgang die Turkije doormaakt. Indrukwekkende infrastructuur, veel restauraties en opknapbeurten aan bezienswaardigheden. Het was een goede mix tussen dat alles en natuurlijk Ataturk die altijd in de buurt was. Een grote pluim ook voor de betrokkenheid van de reisorganisatie. Harold, Ismet en Abdulrahman, Bedankt! Het was echt Turkije anders beleven.
Peter vermulstIk/wij zijn geen mensen die snel een groepsreis zullen doen. Maar als er dan iets in je leven gebeurt waardoor individueel reizen op hold staan bleek dit een erg leuke ervaring. De aangeboden reis bleek door typische Turkse afspraken niet door te gaan, maar Harold heeft kans gezien om op de afgesproken data en prijs iets te bieden dat er erg op leek. Prachtige boot, sublieme bemanning en erg lekker gegeten. Toen ook bleek dat vertrek (Marmaris) en aankomst in (Fethiye) voor een aantal een probleem was is dat netjes geregeld. Voor diegene die naar Marmaris moesten is vervoer geregeld andere vertrokken uit Fetiye richting Antalya / Alanya en onze auto is door de rederij naar Fetiye gereden. Bedankt Harold. Geen negatieve punten? Wij vonden het jammer dat door de koerswijziging we nauwelijks in kleine haventjes gelegen hebben.
Jaap en MiekeWe have just returned from the most memorable adventure into the east of Turkey. The entire experience was professionally managed by the tour company and further enhanced by extremely knowledgeable guides. The hotels were good, providing more than adequate breakfasts. Lunch and evening dining was an opportunity to experience locally produced food. The transport was comfortable with very competent and courteous drivers. The sights were magical, full of history, culture and brought to life by a very knowledgeable guide who took us to places not normally seen on most tours. One of the highlights was seeing Mr Ararat in it's full glory, completely cloud free. The train trip was wonderful and one that should be experienced. The tour culminated in a very well guided tour of Cappadocia. Special mention should go to Harold Tromp, owner of ETD-Travel, who accompanied us on the tour and made sure everything was perfect.

Brian & Maria O'hare"WHAT AN AWESOME TRIP"- Returned home yesterday from The Best organised trip that we have been on in the 5 years of living in Turkey, and we have been on quite a few, but none as good as this. From day one everything was arranged superbly by ETD-TRAVEL. Their knowledge and experience from being in the touring business for over 30 years it was clear he knew what people need to enjoy a receive an incredible tour experience. On checking in the airport was organized by ETDQ, when arrived at destination our bus and guide waiting, great driver - Omar and guide Sharif (Serafettin) whose English was incredible and his knowledge even more amazing, we stayed 7 nights in 8 different 4 star hotels and different towns/cities around Mesopotamia. ETD arranged evening meals at first class restaurants, this begin an extra choice, that again was an excellent experience for the group that they keep below 14 people. Always Booking with ETD.

John en Hennie StuifzandWe’ve just returned from an amazing 8 day tour of Eastern Turkiye/Mesopotamia with this well organised and efficient company. From start to finish, our Co-ordinator (Harold), Guide (Seref) and Driver (Omar) were excellent. We saw amazing historical sites, beautiful architecture, wonderful scenery and interesting museums, all accompanied by facts and detail supplied every step of the way by our guide. We were a mixed group and a couple of us had slight mobility issues that were accommodated without any fuss. Hotels were of a good standard and always clean. We would not hesitate to use this company again. Well done all !!!!

This very well organized trip provided an insight to this areas past ( and present) taking into account the influences of the many visiting invaders through the times. ETD-Travel is a must for those of us who wish to continue gleaning knowledge of ancient history of Türkiye. We were well looked after, felt safe at all times and overnighted in Hotels that not only were comfortable but had interesting histories. Individuals needs (mobility, health and diet) was taken into account - it was a fantastic trip, not too taxing and both Chris and I were given the opportunity to climb Mount Numrut and at over 70 years old we felt empowered to have achieved this. As you know I'm not a foodie but I enjoyed my cuisine (chicken) of kebabs & eggs with the occasional venture to the dark side with steak 🤣. To our all amazing comrades who participated in tour who made the trip such good fun ( Banter) it was lovely to meet such great people, and hope to bum into you again at some point. We have some lovely memories and photos thanks to all the fabulous posts. I highly recommend seeing Southeast Turkey on this tour, the history and culture of this beautiful place was interesting and stunning and something you will probably only do once, seeing Turkey in its true setting. ❤️ I was just looking at your next trip Harold 😳 so you might almost probably see us again.
